QIGONG and meditation CLASSES

Qigong classes

Weekly evening classes are on Wednesdays in ROUNDHAY and on Thursdays at HORSFORTH SCHOOL. There is a weekly daytime class in CLIFFORD. The classes run from September to July.

Contact Sue for details of the Roundhay and Clifford classes.

Go to www.horsfortheveningclasses.org.uk for details and enrolment for the Horsforth class.

Making time for meditation

Sue has a weekly class on Tuesday evenings in her local town of Tadcaster. Relaxing exercise to start and then seated meditation (but on chairs rather than the lotus position!). The class is suitable for those new to meditation and people who have previous experience.

Contact Sue for details of the Tadcaster class.

Also Saturday classes

Sue runs occasional Saturday classes with other teachers at The Old Stables, Adel, North Leeds LS16 8DW. This lovely and comfortable venue makes for a relaxing day of mindful exercise and meditation.

Contact Sue for details of the next Adel class.

Where are classes?

Horsforth - the class is in Horsforth School, Lee Lane East LS18 5RF.

Roundhay - The class is in St Edmunds church hall, LS8 1JN, which is at the junction of Lidgett Park Road and North Park Avenue. If you come via Lidgett Lane, turn into North Park Avenue. You come to a junction where the road widens and there are side roads. Ignore them and pass to the right of the church. Then turn left into the car park immediately after the church for access to the church hall. The class is in the small hall at the back left of the ground floor.

Adel - the class is in The Old Stables, LS16 8DW, which is the church hall for the St John the Baptist church. Access is by Back Church Lane. Turn into a drive opposite the entrance to the golf club. There is a car park on the left and the entrance to the hall is further on down the drive.

Clifford - the class is in The Village Hall, Albion Street, LS23 6HY. There is a car park behind the hall.

Tadcaster - from June 2019, the class is in Manor Farm Youth Centre. It is listed as being in St Josephs Street but the entrance to the car park is to the left of the building as you face it from the main Leeds Road (postcode LS24 9HA).

If you want a one to one

Sue can provide advice where a class would be too much or they are not at a time that suits you. The session will then be suited to your requirements and will help you to establish a regular practice. Doing qigong or meditation little and often is ideal. Usual venue for one to one is Sue's lovely home practice room in Stutton, near Tadcaster. Home visits by arrangement at extra charge.

Half price for first one to one session booked. Special reduced rate for retired folk and those who are not earning.

Contact Sue to discuss a one to one.
